Report Answered June 20, Because despite 5 years of hard work at Amazon while in school to earn a degree, Amazon offered me no advancement beyond a hourly warehouse position. In one interview, I was asked how many hundreds of thousands of dollars I have saved my employers.

As an hourly employee moving boxes, how would I have access to that data? People who showed up and did nothing or next to nothing were promoted based on their ability to make up a good story.
