I go because others enjoy going here. I have to say read more on this visit the food seems to have improved significantly.

Full Menu — Buffet — Spirits. There was a salad bar that consisted of every fruit you could think of. I enjoyed 3 types of melons as well as grapes, strawberries, bananas and apple slices. The bread section offered pancakes, waffles, and French toast. They also had regular toast and biscuits. All these items were available with all of the trimmings. Syrup, butter, powdered sugar, jams and gravy were all easily accessible.

There was a variety of sausage, bacon, and even fried chicken. One of my favorites was the southern fried potatoes. They were extra delicious topped with their creamy white gravy.

Reviews for Shoney's July The restaurant is old and could use some remolding, but the staff meeting as good. The food was not bad either but I think for me the veggies were the best.

But I also went for breakfast and they were serving lunch already. That's my bad; really wanted waffles, sausage and eggs and biscuits. Luckily they had put out fresh biscuits and boy were they delish!
