There was an error. Thank you for signing up! If you have more than one email account set up in the app, you can repeat this process for each account. Tap "Signature. Depending on your mail app, choose to edit either "Signature" or "Mobile signature.

Once the image has been uploaded, you will need to copy the image's URL, or address. Depending on what image hosting site you are using, you may be given the URL when the image is uploaded. If not, you can right-click on your image and click "Copy image URL".

There are two types of signatures: web signatures sent from Gmail on the desktop, and mobile signatures sent from Gmail on your phone. In the box to the right of the last one, do the same thing to use your new signature as the default option for replies and forwarded email.

So to disable the Plain Text mode, click More option three dots and deselect the Plain text mode option. You may need to wait a couple of seconds for the changes to apply. You may also need to reload your signature if it was already changed to the Plain Text format.

Now, every new email, reply or forward message you compose will have your Gmail email signature.
