Where is the best place to watch fireworks at disneyland
I recommend inquiring ahead about the availability of seating in a location with the best possible view. And be sure to the check the entertainment schedule for times. Also, note that fireworks may be postponed or canceled should unfavorable weather conditions occur. Then, even if you do want to pay to get in for the day, there can be so many people there for the show that it can feel congested at best and claustrophobic at worst. And never mind having to find a spot to sit before the fireworks or making the mad dash for the monorail at the end alongside every other person there. Watching the Disney fireworks outside the parks solves all or most of that.
And depending on where you decide to go to enjoy the fireworks, it can be relatively cheap or not cost anything at all. We know.
Places to watch fireworks for free at Disney World? Combined with impressive projection technology and a fresh, catchy soundtrack, this new Magic Kingdom fireworks show is best when viewed from inside the park. So, why not get ahead of them — and still enjoy the fireworks — instead? A little before the fireworks are set to begin, make your way to the Magic Kingdom boat launch and jump on the ferry back to the Transportation and Ticket Center. Not only will you have a killer view of the fireworks at Magic Kingdom from the upper deck, but the ferry dock also faces the park across Seven Seas Lagoon, making for an excellent view of the show.
Please be aware that the observation deck can be booked as a private event space, so it may be unavailable while you are there. To take your Magic Kingdom fireworks viewing experience to the next level both literally and figuratively, and to secure a view of the show, keep going until you reach the California Grill. The first-come, first-served bar at the California Grill is equally as popular and tends to fill up around showtime. Luckily, if local part time jobs hiring decide to visit earlier in the evening, you can show your receipt to get back on the elevator before the fireworks go off.
Happily Ever After can easily be seen from the sand, grass, and sidewalk, as well as over by the boat dock. The hub is also a great place for fireworks viewing. By "the hub," Disneylanders mean the area between where is the best place to watch fireworks at disneyland end of the Main Street buildings and the castle. Views will be good, but buildings and trees can get in your way. If you can see the castle and the Matterhorn, you'll have an unobstructed view. If you're tired and hungry around fireworks time, snag a table at the Jolly Holiday Bakery. Sit near the outer railing in a spot with a good view, then send your companions to pick up something to eat while you hold the seats.
Another good spot at the hub is directly behind the statue of Walt and Mickey. The area fills up a little later than other spots probably because people wrongly assume that the statue will block their viewbut it actually offers a great view without obstructions because the fireworks go off high enough that the statue doesn't get in the way.
Some prefer seeing the show from a distance. It's beautiful to see the "big picture" and the sounds of the fireworks are not as intense.
You can stand anywhere along Main Street that Cast Members allow. You'll be close to the exit if you're leaving the park afterward, but your view will be a little restricted by the buildings.
If you want to see more of the fireworks, just be sure you can see the castle clearly. At the Main Street Railroad Station, the elevation gives a nice overview of the show and it's close to the exit so you can leave as soon as the show ends. A less-crowded place to watch the fireworks is along the corridor that leads toward Toontown, just past "it's a small world. See the show on high from the balcony of the Tomorrowland Expo Center. Go inside and up to the exit or bravely march directly up the exit ramp, then stand close to the triangular pylon. You won't be able to see everything, but it's uncrowded and you can get onto the Monorail as soon as it starts running after the show and zip right out to Downtown Disney.
