Family suites are twice the size of regular rooms and have three sleeping spaces — a bedroom with a queen bed, a pull down murphy bed, and a sofa bed. So, yes, this meets our bed requirement, but just barely since one is a sofa bed cringe and the lovely table for four is unusable when the murphy bed is open. That means the kids need to convert their beds every day if the best disney world resort for family of 4 table and lounging sofa are to be used. Not sharing a bathroom with the kids while on vacation is probably the best perk of these rooms! One of the four sections at the resort — the Little Mermaid area — has standard hotel rooms with two queen beds.

The Big Blue Pool is large with fantastic Finding Nemo theming and underwater speakers, but no slides or spas. However, the splash pad is our favorite of any Disney resort hotel. Additionally, there are two quiet pools themed to Cars and The Little Mermaid.
