Not only do they offer amazing drinks, but I just love all the cute glasses and tiki mugs that they are served in.

Although Disneyland Park does not serve alcohol, one of my favorite drinks is a non-alcoholic take on a classic mint julep over at the Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square. You won't even miss the alcohol!

For years Disneyland was a nearly dry park, but over the years their philosophy on alcohol has changed, most notably with "Star Wars" themed cocktails at Oga's Cantina. Because that brings in a rowdy element. That brings people that we don't want and I feel they don't need it.

However, Walt took similar issue with gum, ice cream and cotton candy and their capacity for getting things sticky, though the latter two items are currently available for purchase in the park, and guests are free to bring gum in with them. The addition of beer, wine, and cocktails to the Blue Bayou menu is intended to complement the New Orleans-inspired food and theme of the restaurant and elevate the culinary experience.

The alcohol menu will include a sparkling wine package served with dessert as well as a Hurricane blended cocktail made popular in New Orleans. Non-alcoholic seasonal varieties of the New Orleans Square mint julep will also be introduced. A reopening date for the restaurant has not yet been announced.
