Bans TikTok, a Chinese video-sharing social networking service, has been banned in a number of countries, including Indonesia, India, and Pakistan, for varying periods. Indonesia had temporarily banned TikTok in July after the government accused it of promulgating "pornography, inappropriate content and blasphemy.

The service had been banned in Pakistan for a while as well. Young people in Bangladesh are negatively addicted to playing this game. The suspicion of the closure of Pubg has been underway for the past few months.

In the first week of October, many gamers posted on Facebook that the game was having trouble playing in Bangladesh. Bangladeshi police says, The game has been stopped from Bangladesh after receiving numerous complaints from parents of school and college and university. The game is infusing violence among students.

Facebook posts get people arrested in Bangladesh

Online games like PUBG Mobile and Garena Free Fire are facing flak in countries across the globe for their extremely habituating nature that youths especially cannot resist. While some countries have imposed a temporary ban on these apps, others have imposed an indefinite ban on the apps. The court further issued a ruling asking the authorities to explain in 10 days if they are not able to do as directed.

However, with this popularity, these titles are always the target of many. There are already many petitions pending in courts of different countries worldwide seeking to ban these games. Mujahid, 64, is the secretary-general of Jamaat-e-Islami and an influential figure within the party.
