Simililarly, if I return to a channel I had been watching and had already turned the subtitles off - they again reappear without being turned back on. I have played around in the accessibility menu and found that subtitles are appearing as disabled as standard, but this is no the case in reality. I have to hit the Can anyone advise how to permanently switch subtitles off as standard.

I think i may need a software patch or advanced settings.
