You can alter the configuration of an existing group by editing its properties.

There are two options you can configure. The second option determines whether messages received from external addresses will be accepted by the group.

Add members to the group Once the group has been created, you can add members and configure additional settings. Groups that you create in your Contacts folder aren't available to other users in the University.

The most important thing is that the first few letters are not the same as any other email addresses or groups you use. The autocomplete feature in Outlook can be very helpful but only if it autocompletes with the correct address.
