Unfortunately, you can't change the default font for messages displayed on Outlook. Lifewire Under Message format, select the font dropdown and choose the new default font you want to use. You can also change the default font size; set bold, italics, and underline for text; and choose your default font color.

If you want to change the font options for only a single message, you can do this while composing the email. And in our case we select the Calibri. Select a font style in the Font style: box.

It also increases the size of the ribbon which in my case is fine. One client changed almost everything to 12 which I think is a little over the top, but he really likes it. So if you are having trouble reading text in Office applications, play around with it and I think you will be able make some adjustments which will really improve the look and feel of outlook and other applications as well. Please specify a percentage from the scale link this percentage of normal size drop down list, and click the OK button.
