The sensitization meetings entailed conducting outreaches, in sub counties, on veterinary drug regulation, veterinary pharmacovigilance and post marketing surveillance; and the participants were select farmers, sub county veterinary extension workers plus sub county opinion leaders ( LC 3 Chairperson and SACAO).
The training was organized for veterinary extension workers to cover topics on NDA mandate and role in veterinary drug regulation, rational drug use, veterinary pharmacovigilance and best practices in acaricide use.
