The unit is critical in creating public awareness of NDA’s vision and strategies, value propositions and develop NDA’s corporate image and identity by identifying main client groups and audiences and determine the best way to reach them.

The Unit monitors, tracks and advises on all NDA / medicines regulatory news related articles and releases. It is also responsible for growing and managing NDA’s social media content, among others.

Abiaz holds a master degree in Journalism & Communication and a Bachelor degree in Mass Communication from Makerere University. For over 13 years, he has been involved in public relations; managing communications for regional and international organizations.
Abiaz has established himself as a proven communicator capable of planning and implementing successful communication approaches.
He manages our communications approaches to ensure that our interested parties and the general public understand and appreciate our mandate.
