NDA Chairman, Dr. Medard Bitekyerezo, said that the evolving and increasing demand for nuclear science and technology in the management of health, requires training and building capacity to ensure quality and safety of Radiopharmaceutical use and administration. This was during the closing function of the AFRA coordination meeting on strengthening and improving Radiopharmacy services, that begun on 23rdto 27th April 2018.
The meeting participants were drawn from 14 countries. Namely; Algeria, Burkina Faso, Egypt, Ethiopia, .Mauritius, Morocco, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Sudan, Tunisia, Uganda, and Zambia.
