Dual Licensing of Pharmacies for the year 2017

As by copy of Circular No. 002/ID/2016 available at NDA,


To all pharmaceutical operators,

This is to inform you that effective 1st January 2017, National Drug Authority will no longer issue licenses to pharmacies operating both retail and wholesale business on the same premise.

Therefore, for the next licensing period, you are advised to choose to operate either retail or wholesale pharmacy business. Additional guidance on the operation of the type of pharmacy selected will be obtained in the Licensing Requirements and Guidelines.

In Case of any further inquireies / clarifications, please do not hesitate to contact the ED NDA.
